- Zycin-500 Tablet: Each film-coated tablet contains Azithromycin Dihydrate USP equivalent to Azithroycin 500 mg.
- Zycin Dry Powder for 15 ml, 30 ml & 50 ml Suspension: Each 5 ml reconstituted suspension contains Azithromycin Dihydrate USP equivalent to Azithromycin 200 mg.
Description:
Azithromycin is an azalide, a subclass of macrolide antibiotics, active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. Azithromycin interferes with ribosome function in susceptible bacteria by inhibiting the translocation of peptides.
