Salison Ointment: Each gram of ointment contains Betamethasone Dipropionate BP 0.64 mg equivalent to Betamethasone 0.50 mg and Salicylic Acid BP 30 mg. 

Description

Betamethasone Dipropionate is a glucocorticoid which have primarily anti-inflammatory and/or immunosuppressive effects and Salicylic Acid which has keratolytic properties and is applied topically in the treatment of hyperkeratotic. Keratolytic action helps to facilitate the penetration of the corticosteroids easily and Betamethasone Dipropionate is an effective treatment of dermatoses because of their anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic and vasoconstrictive actions.

Indication

Salison ointment is used to treat inflammatory, dry and scaly skin disorders, such as Eczema, Psoriasis.

Therapeutic Class: Anti-inflammatory & Keratolytic agent.
