Each film-coated tablet contains Mecobalamin INN 0.5 mg.

Description

Mecobalamin is the only homologue of vitamin B₁₂, found in the brain, which participates in the transmethylation as Vit. B12-containing coenzyme. It plays a functional role in protein synthesis, stimulates methionine from homocysteine and helps to restore normal levels of DNA and RNAs in the nerve cells. It also enhances the formation of lecithin, which is another major component of the myelin sheath.

Therapeutic Class: Analgesics.
