- Miganil 5 Tablet : Each tablet contains Flunarizine BP 5 mg as Flunarizine dihydrochloride.
- Miganil 10 Tablet : Each tablet contains Flunarizine BP 10 mg as Flunarizine dihydrochloride.
Description
Miganil is a selective calcium antagonist. It is the difluorinated derivative of cinnarizine. Flunarizine prevents cellular calcium influxes and does not interfere with normal cellular calcium homeostasis. It is well absorbed from the gut reaching peak plasma levels within 2-4 hours. After extensive hepatic metabolism, Flunarizine and its metabolite are excreted through the faces via the bile. Plasma protein binding is 99%.
