Each soft gelatin capsule contains Neomycin Sulphate USP 35000 IU, Polymyxin B Sulphate USP 35000 IU, Nystatin BP 100000 IU and Metronidazole BP 200 mg.
Description
Gynoheal Soft Gelatin Capsule is a combination preparation of Neomycin, Polymyxin B, Nystatin and Metronidazole for use in the vagina only. Neomycin is an aminoglycoside having bactericidal activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Polymyxin B is effective against gram-negative bacteria including Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Nystatin is an antifungal, active against a wide range of yeasts and yeast-like fungi. Metronidazole, a nitroimidazole, is effective against both anaerobic bacteria and protozoa.
